The countdown to our special day is well under way!

One Life, One Home

This site contains everything our guests will need to reply to our invitation, to make plans for their journey here and find out more about our wedding day.

There is also place where you can join us in reflecting on the road that has lead us here, and add your own reflections or comments.

Enjoy!

Now we feel no rain, for each of us will be shelter to the other.

Now we feel no cold, for each of us will be warmth to the other.

Now there is no loneliness, for each of us will be a companion to the other.

We are two bodies, two individuals

but there is one life before us and one home.

In the evening, we’ll gaze in each other’s eyes

Knowing that each is there for the other.

Hand in hand, we’ll reflect on the road that has lead us here

           To this moment of happiness.

The road stretches behind us, even as the future lies ahead.

A long and winding road, whose every turn holds new discoveries.

Old hopes, new laughter, shared fears.

                            The adventure has just begun.

The Journey Begins

The Celebration of Norm and Cliff’s Marriage

November 4th, that special day,

When I first saw your face

‘Twas a fleeting moment in time,

‘Twas a fleeting moment in space.

I looked for you, but you had gone …

Yet my memory served me well,

For on Richard2, my sights were set,

Perhaps myself I’d sell.

I hoped that you’d sign on again,

Perhaps to check your mail,

I hoped and hoped and hoped in vain,

Perhaps, there’d be no tale.

We may become friends, and nothing more,

Only time will tell,

Yet I feel blessed to have connected with you,

On the good things we will dwell.

I know not why I feel so strong,

For one I have not met,

Yet all I know is it won’t be wrong,

Perhaps, perhaps it’s fate.

- Cliff

just when i had thought

that believing was too hard

i had said, ‘it is enough

there is no one who believes’

just then, already,

while i was drifting away

you called out to me—

pulses waiting to awaken me

from my cynical sleep

just reading, thinking, imagining,

your resurrecting words

‘perhaps,’ yes, perhaps—

and now i find, be it day or night,

you are forever on my mind.
