In Memory of Cliff's Father |

To My Dad, Charles A. Pereira
Dear Daddy, Thank you for all you did for Mom, Caroline and myself. In your own quiet way you ensured that we had whatever we needed. Waking up early every morning to prepare breakfast, to help us get a good start for our day. Teaching me to shave, explaining the importance of dressing well and looking after my things. You and mom sacrificed many things for us, for that I am eternally grateful.
I really got to know the person you were when we would talk together, in the hospital, during your illness, and I only wish that we had had more time to spend together. I am sorry that I wasn’t there when you passed away; however, you are always in my heart and in my prayers.
I know that you are looking out for me, for the best things seem to happen to me on or around your birthday: a new job, promotions, and most importantly, seeing Norm for the first time. I believe your prayers had a lot to do with me being blessed with a life partner like Norm.
I wish you were here to celebrate this special and happy day with us. I know that wherever you are, you are watching over me, and are always with me. So even on our wedding day, in some way, you will be there.
Y Love,
- Your loving son Cliffy
